Workin' on buying our first house!!!

Brad and I have been married for 4 years and this will be our 5th move. This nomad is ready to settle down! Brad and I love this house because it has the nice cozy inside that I wanted and the beautiful mountain & country side views Brad wanted. We plan on moving in towards the end of October - I can't wait to finally have a home of our own!

Last weekend we drove to Cincinnati, Ohio for our friends Matt and Michelle's wedding. The scenic drive was incredible and we had a blast at the wedding. I'm sad I didn't get pictures of the beautiful bride. Why is it that I always manage to get pictures of food?

I heard on the radio that Cincinnati consumes more chili per capita than any other place in the world. My Cincinnati coworkers encouraged us to try the Skyline Chili 3-way. We did. In our PJs. At midnight. It looks gross but it was yum yum yum :)

mmm... Fried (fill in the blank)

Bradley boy and I hit up the Greene County Fair this weekend. We go to the fair for one reason and one reason only . . . F.R.I.E.D P.I.C.K.L.E.S! nom-nom-nom Brad always says his favorite food is fried fill-in-the-blank.

We checked out the tractors, cows, locals ;) and the rides Brad refused to let me go on. Has anyone ever died from a Tilt-a-Whirl, or the Sizzler perhaps? I tried to reason that the worst that might happen would be a broken limb.

In other news, we are doing the house hunt. We looked at a bunch this weekend and we're going to check out more tomorrow. Brad and I are renting experts, but new to the house buying game, which is why we have both of our moms on speed dial. I cannot wait to FINALLY have a house to call our own.

Better safe than sorry

I just love going to Wal-Mart, and not just for the great people watching. The parking lot is hoot!
I appreciate this guy for using his alternative emergency break when my car was parked across the aisle.

Thank you-Thank you-Thank you to all of our incredibly sweet friends and family that reached out to us and offered prayers. Your support means the world to us!

on my mind

My thoughts I share here are always light-hearted and fun...but I am not feeling that way, for many reasons. When ever I get upset, I say to myself, "don't worry about anything, but pray about everything." Well here I am, on my knees.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

please pray for us
